Dundas Vape Shop is committed to legal excellence and youth prevention. In accordance with Health Canada’s Tobacco and Vaping Products Act (TVPA), we strictly enforce age requirements to ensure our products are only available to adult smokers and vapers.

Legal Age by Province

You must meet the minimum age of your shipping destination:

  • 19+ : Ontario, BC, NB, NL, NS, SK, YT, NT, NU
  • 21+ : Prince Edward Island
  • 18+ : Alberta, Manitoba, Quebec

Failure to Verify & Underage Purchases

We take youth prevention seriously. Please be aware of our policies regarding unsuccessful verification:

  • Order Cancellation: If we cannot verify your age through our secure system or via a requested ID upload, your order will be cancelled.
  • Restocking Fees: Orders returned to us by Canada Post due to a failed "Age Verification" check at the door will be refunded minus the original shipping costs and a 15% restocking fee.
  • Underage Attempts: Any attempt to purchase by a minor is a violation of our terms. We reserve the right to ban accounts that provide fraudulent age information.

Your Privacy Matters

To comply with the law, we must verify your identity. We handle your data with extreme care:

  • Encryption: All ID uploads are processed through industry-standard SSL encryption.
  • Data Minimization: We only look for your name, date of birth, and photo. We do not sell or share your personal data with third-party marketers.
  • Secure Disposal: Once your age is verified for your account, sensitive ID documents are securely purged from our active temporary storage.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Do I have to verify my age every time?
No. Once you have successfully verified your age on your Dundas Vape Shop account, future orders will be processed automatically, though a signature is still required upon delivery.

What IDs are accepted?
We accept any valid, government-issued photo ID. This includes a Driver’s License, Passport, or Provincial Photo Card (e.g., Ontario Photo Card).

Can I have my package left in my mailbox?
No. Health Canada regulations require "Proof of Age" at the point of delivery. If you are not home, Canada Post will leave a notice card for pickup at your local post office.

I am of legal age but my ID is expired. Can I still order?
Unfortunately, no. We can only accept valid, unexpired government identification.
